Results
Patients are required to see their doctor directly for results. Reception staff are not permitted to give results to a patient over the telephone.
Repeat prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions and referrals provided without an consultation for all patients (pensioners & social security card holders ) will now be charged a small fee of $7.00 for scripts and $12.00 for referrals. But at times the GP cannot always be provide repeat scripts and referrals without review of the patient’s condition.
Recall/Reminder Systems
As part of our commitment to preventative care we may issue you with recall/reminder letters or SMS. Please inform us if you wish to decline this service.
Preventative Health
Please advise the receptionist if you have received a letter from your doctor or nurse and the contents of the letter. They will then allocate an appropriate appointment.
Travel Vaccines
The practice provides private travel vaccines: please ask reception for a price list.
Care for Non English Patients
Patients who do not speak English are encouraged to request access to a telephone interpreter service during the consultation.
Medical Records
We operate a computer base medical record system. Please advise the reception staff should any of your personal details, address, phone number or circumstances change. Your Medicare Card, Health Care Card/Pension Card and Veterans Card must be valid and up to date.
